Description:
Figure No. 1
Following the completion of the wall the students
work in teams lifting it into place. Care is given
to make sure that the weight is distributed so that
no one strains their back in the process.
Figure No. 2
Part of the energy saving measures we are taking
is the air infiltration between the slab and wall.
Caulking is placed on the slab to seal the two so
that air and insects sealed out.
Figure No. 3
Measuring is an important part of the construction
process. Here a student is measuring for a top plate
that needs to be installed. It requires the student
to measure the distance and then subtract the width
of an overlapping top plate. |
