ESGVROP/TC provides secondary and post secondary instruction including a two-year technical degree (Associate of Applied Science). Established in 1970, ESGVROP/TC originally provided a relatively narrow service - occupational training for "general track" (neither college bound nor special needs) students as a supplement to their comprehensive high school class schedule.
Over the years, ESGVROP/TC has expanded its services to the districts' schools and to the community as a whole. Currently, a wide selection of instructional programs serve the entire cross section of students from special education, limited English, non-college bound to college bound.
Services such as career assessment, integrated academics, alternative education instruction, child care, transportation, tutoring and mentoring, job development, and job placement are also provided to students.
Services are also provided to participating districts such as assistance obtaining funding for district programs, assistance with staff development, curriculum development, follow-up research on student successes, and other resource development.
