The Nursing Assistant class will prepare you for an entry-level position in the nursing assistant, home health and acute care field. Care of the elder population in both the hospital and home setting is one of the most demanding and expanding areas of employment.  This program features:

1. Preparation for American Red Cross Certified Nursing Test
2. Certificate of Competency
3. Small group and one on one coaching
4. Employment Assistance
5. Internships

Prerequisites: 16 years of age, no high school diploma/GED required. Eight grade reading level is preferred.
TB skin test or chest x-ray. TB test must be taken BEFORE student begins clinical. Student will have a current CPR card prior to clinical. No criminal record.
